Description
Cellular Dynamics International (CDI) leverages human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells to produce large quantities of fully functional cell types for human in vitro drug safety screening across multiple genetic background and assays. Additionally, the Company provides cardiotoxicity testing services using hERG-HEK293 cells.

CDI is recruiting for a Quality Control Analyst. The Quality Control Analyst position will perform raw material and finished product release testing to ensure materials used in manufacture and products sold by Cellular Dynamics to meet pre-established quality standards.

Skills and responsibilities:

1. Perform raw material sampling and release testing.
2. Perform finished product release testing.
3. Track quality control results.
4. Perform quality control testing support for customer complaints.
5. Aid in the investigation of out-of-specification results.
6. Perform material release inspections.
7. Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
8. Write and/or review SOPs related to quality control testing, systems, and equipment.

Qualifications:

~BS degree in Biology or a related field.
~At least 1 - 2 years experience in quality control.
~Experience with Good Documentation Practices.
~Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
~Antibiotic-free cell culture experience.
