Description

CDI seeks motivated and self-directed Production Specialist to manufacture and conduct quality control testing of finished product.  

Primary responsibilities include:

1.  Understand basic laboratory concepts and be able to perform basic lab techniques.  Including, aseptic techniques and microbial culture.
2.  Follow manufacturing/quality control protocols reproducibly within a specified timeframe.
3.  Apply good documentation practices when recording data and completing records.
4.  Follow production schedules to assure on-time delivery of finished product.
5.  Understand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to CDI business.
6.  Effectively communicate day-to-day activities with Production department.
7.  Assist in developing and maintaining procedures and work instructions.
8.  Maintain laboratory standards (temperature status, inventory, routine maintenance).

Essential Job Requirements:

•  Familiarity with basic principles of documentation using either laboratory notebook or batch record is required.
•  One to two year's experience in cell culture preparation and maintenance is preferred.
•  Ability to work in laboratory hood for extended periods of time is required.
