Design Review Board

The University Research Park Design Review Board, appointed by the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System, has complete authority to approve, reject, or require modification to any plan or design proposal for development or construction and to establish the conditions upon which design proposals will be evaluated and to allow variations to standards and design criteria where such variations will assist in carrying out the intent and the spirit of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for University Research Park.

They don’t seem to make ‘em like Mark Bugher anymore. And that’s really too bad. Bugher, the longtime director of UW-Madison’s successful University Research Park, has announced plans to retire in October. Good for Bugher and his family. Tough loss for Madison, Dane County and all of Wisconsin.

The former Tommy Thompson administration insider even thinks government can actually do some good.
Bugher, 64, announced last week he would retire as director of the University Research Park in October, ending a career in public service that spans nearly 35 years.

University Research Park is proud to endorse a team for the Bike for Boys and Girls Club Ride. This is a not a race - this is a fundraising joy ride, and it will take place on Saturday July 20th. There will be three distances to choose from (8, 25, and 50 miles) and all routes will begin and end at Edgewood High School

It has been said that Cycling is the new golf. This is an opportunity for you to network with fellow URP tenants while helping to raise funds for a great community cause. By signing up as a URP Team member your registration fee is a mere $25. In return, you will be asked to raise a minimum of $225 in pledges.
